Environmental issues are very much in the public concern and the Packaging Industry world wide recognises that while contributing to the problem in the form of household packaging waste, the 3-Ps of the industry are, in Asia, of equal concern: Protect, Preserve and Promote the product. Without proper packaging more than 38% of Asia’s food is spoilt in the supply chain between farmer and consumer – in many APF Asia is home ot more than 60% of the world's population, yet most of the region is still in a state of under-development.
