Formed in 1997, Sojuzupak is made up of 60 members.

Sojuzupak helps develop technical regulations and standards for the packaging industry, as well as manage corporate agreements, and facilitate business opportunities between its members and interested parties.

A strong advocate of environmental protection, Sojuzupak organises joint events with national and international organisations to educate the public. It also lobbies the interests of the packaging industry to the government, and facilitates consultation between both parties for environmental legislation.
